Gutters and siding that keep Front Range homes dry

Green Slate Roofing & Siding installs and repairs seamless aluminum gutters, sectional gutters, vinyl siding, and fiber-cement siding across the Denver metro and Colorado Front Range. Gutter work bundles cleanly with roof replacements — we frequently do both on the same project.

Function first: a properly-sized gutter system protects the foundation and helps prevent ice dams during Front Range freeze-thaw cycles. Free estimates, plain-English options.

Gutters & Siding — Common Questions

What gutter and siding materials do you work with?
For siding, we install vinyl and fiber-cement — the two most common exterior siding systems on Denver-area homes. For gutters, we work in both seamless and sectional aluminum; most Denver homes get seamless 5-inch or 6-inch aluminum runs, with the right size depending on roof drainage area and storm-runoff volume. We talk through trade-offs during the free estimate so you can match the system to your home and budget.
What's the difference between sectional and seamless gutters?
Sectional gutters come in pre-cut lengths joined together with sealant — quick to install and lower-cost up-front. Seamless gutters are roll-formed on-site to the exact length of each roof run, with joints only at corners and downspouts. Seamless costs more initially but leaks less over the long run — fewer joints means fewer failure points where sealant can dry out and let water through.
Do you offer gutter guards or leaf-protection systems?
Yes. Gutter guards reduce how often the gutters need cleaning — important for tree-shaded properties and for any Front Range home where ice dams form during freeze-thaw cycles. There are several guard styles (mesh, micro-mesh, reverse-curve, foam) at different price points. We walk through the trade-offs during the estimate so you can match the guard to your roof’s leaf load.
How long does a gutter or siding replacement take?
Gutter replacement on a single-family home is typically a 1-day job, weather permitting. Full siding replacements run 3–7 days depending on the home’s size, the siding material being installed, and any underlying wall repairs that surface once the old siding comes off. We share a timeline before the project starts and update you if anything changes mid-job.
Can gutters be installed during a roof replacement?
Yes — and it’s often the most efficient approach. When the roof is being replaced anyway, the crew is already on-site and the integration with the new drip edge, flashing, and fascia is cleaner when gutters go on at the same time. We frequently bundle gutter work into roof projects when the existing gutters are near the end of their service life.
What warranty coverage applies to gutter and siding work?
Vinyl siding typically carries a lifetime limited manufacturer warranty, and fiber-cement substrate warranties usually run 30 years or more — actual terms depend on the product line and install package. Aluminum gutters carry shorter manufacturer warranties but rarely fail when properly installed. We also stand behind our workmanship beyond the manufacturer warranty; if something we installed isn’t right, we come back and fix it.
What Denver-area neighborhoods have you served for gutters and siding?
We’ve worked on gutters and siding across 15 cities in the Denver metro and Colorado Front Range, including Arvada, Aurora, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Westminster, Thornton, Littleton, and our home neighborhood of Applewood/Golden. See the full service-area list →
